This is a draft description of how Taskiddo currently handles data, written to match actual product behavior. It has not been reviewed by counsel — treat it as a starting point, not a final policy, especially given the product handles data about children.
When you create a Taskiddo account, we collect your email address for authentication (password or magic-link sign-in) and your account's name and timezone. For each profile you create, we store a name, an emoji icon, and a color — no other personal information is required to use the app.
Tasks, sections, points, streaks, achievements, and reward redemptions you create are stored to power the app and are visible only to members of your account.
If you pair a device with the screentime agent, we store the rules you set, the names of apps and websites your rules reference, and usage totals reported by the agent (app names and time spent, not content or keystrokes). Detailed activity logs are automatically deleted after 30 days; only small daily usage totals are kept longer term.
Data is used solely to operate the app and the screentime agent for your household — to enforce rules you set, show your dashboards, and send account-related email (sign-in links, invitations). We do not sell personal data.
We use a transactional email provider to deliver sign-in and notification emails, and a hosting provider to run the application. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising services.
You can revoke a paired device at any time from the screentime dashboard, which deletes its access token. You can delete tasks, sections, or profiles from within the app. To delete your account entirely, contact us.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the email address associated with your account invitation, or through the app's support channel.
